Throughout the year, WVP teachers support various local charities through our “Jeans for a Cause”.  Once a month, teachers pay to wear jeans and the money donated is given to charities such as the Alzheimer's Association, the SCPA, TUW Bags of Joy, Autism Awareness, and Jump Rope for Heart.  We also encourage our students to help out different organizations through fun activities such as hat day and PJ day!

Miss Elder, our Librarian, plans fun Book Fairs for us in both the Fall and the Spring.  Look for more information regarding these dates.  She always makes sure the book fair is stocked full of fun books, posters, stickers, pencils and many other exciting things.

CSU students help us host Math, Science and Language Arts nights throughout the year to give our students the opportunity to play subject specific games with their parents and teachers.  Our teachers and staff members enjoy planning fun activities for our students and their families.  Don't miss out on these nights!   Our students really love to see their teachers outside the classroom.

Our PTA sponsors many fun activities for our students.    They host a Santa Shop in December and sponsors many fun family nights!  Each Spring, our PTA hosts a School Carnival with games, jump castles, food and many other fun activities.    We have the greatest PTA and they are always doing SUPER fun things for our students!

In the Spring, our Art and Music teachers plan an entire week of celebrating the arts during Fine Arts Week.   We get to see plays, musical productions, make arts and crafts and participate in many other fun arts and music related activities.  

Each year, we also host a school wide Field Day!   Our students love the outdoor fun and the friendly class competition!    A class overall SPIRIT award is awarded each year!  Our teachers get really excited and work hard to win this award.
