A little about me: I grew up in Soller, Mallorca, Spain. Mallorca is the biggest island of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. When I was eight years old, I moved to South Carolina in 1987 which is also when I started learning English. I graduated from the College of Charleston with my Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. I started teaching in 2008 at Goose Creek High School. I graduated from the College of Charleston with my Masters of Education in Linguistics: Spanish in May 2015. I graduated from the Citadel with my Masters of Education in Secondary Administration in December of 2018. I understand the difficulties and intricacies that come with learning another language since I had to learn English as my third language. It is a long and difficult process, but very rewarding as well. I am honored to be able to teach Spanish to my students at Hanahan High School.
