• Welcome to Miss Kociolek's Science Class

Welcome back to Daniel Island School. I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I am excited to be back at Daniel Island School for my eleventh year here. It is going to be an exciting year in 8th grade. I come to you from New Jersey where I went to college at Seton Hall University. As well I study at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia for six months. I earned a degree in Education/Special Education as well as a degree in Environmental Studies. I have also completed my Masters in Teaching, Learning, and Advocacy through the College of Charleston. I am working on my last year of my Doctoral of Education, Technology K-16, through Johns Hopkins. I greatly enjoy teaching science and have been working in the science field for about eleven years now. I look forward to engaging your children in the world of science and gaining a better love for science.

We will be learning about Physics, Astronomy, and Earth History.
