Mrs. Kelsey Lawrence

Kelsey Lawrence is originally from Goose Creek, South Carolina and is a product of the BCSD school system. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and her master's degree in Administration and Leadership from Charleston Southern University. She joined BCSD seven years ago as a Mild Self-Contained teacher. She has served as a coach and teacher at Stratford High School prior to assuming the role as the Assistant Principal at Philip Simmons High School. She believes that every student is successful when given the right set of tools that are geared towards their individual strengths, talents, and interests. Currently, she lives in Moncks Corner, SC with her husband, Devan, and two children, Rilynn and Jameson.
