  • Daniel Island Rotary Scholarship

    Description: The Daniel Island Rotary Club Henri L. White Scholarship Committee accepts applications from students interested in receiving assistance with college tuition. These scholarships (two per year) honor the memory of Henri L White and award each recipient a total of $10,000 over their four years at college. Students seeking financial assistance for a four-year bachelor’s or a two year associate’s degree program are eligible.

    The deadline for applications is February 28, 2021, and finalists are virtually (Zoom) interviewed by our scholarship committee in March.

    Students eligible for this scholarship must reside within the designated attendance zone for Phillip Simmons High School. One scholarship is designated for a student that matriculated through the Cainhoy School and is currently residing in the Cainhoy-Huger region of Berkeley County.

  • Berkeley Soil & Water Conservation Scholarship

    Description: For students who are attending college in South Carolina and are studying natural resources, agriculture, conservation or forestry.

    Award: $1,000

    Deadline: April 20, 2021 - Applications can be picked up in the school counseling/guidance office.

  • Student View Scholarship

    Description: Students can complete a survey and be entered into winning a scholarship.

    Award: $500-$5,000

  • CEJC Bill Dull Memorial Scholarship


    1. Be a citizen of the United States
    2. Be a graduating high school senior of a Lowcountry area high school (Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester Counties)
    3. Be able to provide proof of acceptance into an engineering or technology curriculum at an accredited institution for higher learning. (This is NOT limited to 4 year programs of study and does include associate degree programs. e.g., Acceptance into Trident Technical College in one of their technology programs is valid.)
    4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • VSA Emerging Young Artist Program

    Description: Scholarship available for students between the ages of 16-25 and have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. This includes sensory, physical, cognitive, learning, socio-emotional disabilities and more. 

    Award: Grand Prize is $20,000, First Prize is $10,000, Second Prize is $6,000, and the remaining Awards of Excellence are $2,000 each. For winning artists, one of the submitted artworks will be selected for a national exhibition. Artists attend professional development activities provided by the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

  • The Virginia Louise Howell-West Memorial Scholarship

    Details: Scholarship available for students with a 3.3 GPA or higher.
