    Berkeley County School District (BCSD) appreciates our military families. 
    Approximately 1,400 children of active-duty military families currently attend Berkeley County School District schools. 
    The District thanks those who have already entrusted BSCD schools with their children's education and warmly welcomes those who are new to our area.

    Berkeley County's Military Student Transition Consultant (MSTC) serves military-connected students at Marrington Elementary School, Marrington Middle School of the Arts, and Cane Bay Elementary School. The MSTC serves as an expert navigator, advocate, and support for military connected students and families, providing a continuum of care from entry to exit.

    School Liaisons address the unique educational needs specific to military families.  The SLS advocates for the educational needs of military children, and serves as a point of contact for military families seeking assistance with school related K-12 matters.  School Liaisons collaborate with the district, and the MSTC, to ensure educational transitions are seamless, and that resources are readily available for families and district personnel.
