Federal and State laws require us to obtain certain documentation as part of the new hire onboarding process. Employees must review the entire new hire orientation presentation and sign up for a new hire session.
Print and bring completed hiring documents to the orientation session. Documents required include your TB test result (within 1 year) if not previously submitted.

I-9 Form
Please provide the original I-9 document (NO COPIES)
This form is used to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. All U.S. employers must provide a completed I-9 for each individual they hire for employment.

Complete this form so that the correct federal income tax amount is withheld from your pay.

Complete this form so that the correct state income tax amount is withheld from your pay.

This form is password protected. If you are unable to print, no worries. Copies will be available. Please attach a voided check or account verification information from all listed financial institutions.

TB Form
CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, AS AMENDED APRIL 1979, SECTION 44-29-150. No person will be initially hired to work in any public or private school, kindergarten, nursery or day care center for infants and children until appropriately evaluated for tuberculosis according to guidelines approved by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Reevaluation will not be required for employment in consecutive years unless otherwise indicated by such guidelines.

Transfer Information (Sick Leave)
BCSD accepts the transfer of sick leave days from another school district or state entity in South Carolina. Out of state days are not accepted.
