Here are our results from State Festival 2012!

The Ladies Honors Choir scored 286.6/300 points bringing home a Superior Rating in performance. This placed them in 9th place overall in AAA! and scored 89.2 in Sight-reading barely missing a Superior in this category (where the students are presented with a piece of music and given 5 minutes to study it, then graded on how well they perform it).

Cobra Chorale scored 291.4/300 receiving a 97.8 from one judge. This placed Chorale in 5th place in AAA out of 22 Choirs! They scored a 91/100 in Sightreading bringing home straight Superiors! They were 9th overall in the STATE.

Overall, all of our students represented Cane Bay with class, dignity and honor and garnered respect from the other choirs and audience members at the event. They have worked very hard for this.

Congratulations to the Cobra Chorale for a WONDERFUL performance at the SCMEA Music Educator's Conference February 4th, 2011.  They performed for approximately 400 music educators from SC and the Southeast.  The kids worked extremely hard for a great performance and represented Cane Bay and Berkeley County well!
