    The Berkeley County Board of Education wants to hear your suggestions about what the name of the new school in the Tanner Plantation/Foster Creek area should be.

  • Back To School Nights

    Back to School Nights 2017-2018


    August 14, 2017 First and Third grade

     August 15, 2017 Second and Fourth grade 

    Two Sessions will be open at 6:00pm and 7:00 pm 


    Kindergarten will have a drop-in on August 15 from 11am- 1pm to allow parents and students to briefly meet the teacher and see the classroom. Kindergarten Open House will be September 7 at 6:00 PM.



    1 - pack of #2 pencils–all yellow (sharpened)

    1 - black and white notebook

    2 - Primary composition books

    2 - (3) prong polyvinyl folders with brads and pockets (1 blue & 1 orange)

    2 - solid colored spiral notebooks (1 black & 1 red)

    1 - pack of large pink erasers

    1 – pack of Dry Erase markers

    1 - pack of Crayola magic markers - 8 primary colors

    3 - boxes of 24 Crayola  crayons

    1 - Fiskar scissors

    24 - glue sticks

    1 - clean towel for rest

    2 - boxes of tissue

    1 - bottle of instant hand sanitizer

    1 - box of ZipLock bags – (snack, quart or gallon)

    1 - package of baby wipes


    Please put all items in a box or large bag with your child’s name on the box or bag.    **You do not need to label each item**

    1-Crayola Washable Water Color paint (tray of 8 colors)

    3-Polyvinyl 3-prong plain Folders with pockets(1 red, 1 blue, 1 green)

    2-Primary composition books

    2-packs of only #2 yellow pencils (sharpened)

    2-large pink erasers

    1-Fiskar scissors

    1-plastic supply box

    2-boxes of tissue

    1-sandwich size Ziploc baggies (girls  only)

    1-gallon size Ziploc baggies (boys only)

    1-regular size pump hand sanitizer

    1-package of baby wipes

    Book bag

    ** You do not need to label each item

    1-durable 1 inch 3 ring binder w/pockets

    2- (3 prong) polyvinyl folders w/pockets

    1- pair of kids sharp scissors

    1-three prong/2 pocket folder (GREEN)

    2-black and white wide ruled composition books

    1- Fiskar pointed scissors


    1-pack of highlighters

    2-packs Crayola crayons 24 count

    2-packs wide ruled notebook paper

    2-boxes of tissue

    2-containers of hand sanitizer (Suggested brands: Purell; GermX)

    2-packs black Expo dry erase markers

    Pencil top erasers

    Ear buds (Needed daily for Google Chromebooks)

    Girls Day Out

    Sponsored by SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) via ONR, College of Charleston, Trident Technical College via ACE, NUCOR, BOSCH, Department of Energy, Paul Mitchell and the Naval Health Clinic Charleston, Girls Day Out is designed to inspire, educate and attract girls to pursue STEM careers. The three-day, fun-filled event is scheduled for July 27-29 at the College of Charleston. The camp is designed to educate rising 8th and 9th grade students on STEM related degrees and career opportunities, all while having fun! For more info. please click HERE
