Daniel Island's Guidance Department is a National RAMP Recognized Program.
During the 2009-2014 school years, Daniel Island School was a South Carolina Palmetto Gold Award Winner for student achievement.
Through the use of ABC and DAP grants, Philip Simmons Middle was able to provide students a unique learning experience for National Arts in Education Week. Theatre teacher Charles Atkins brought in circus arts instructor Jef Lambdin for a week of activities that covered multiple subject areas and several principles of learning.
On October 3, Berkeley Center for the Arts on the campus of Goose Creek High will host a Fine Arts College Fair. It's an event during which organizers hope that students will learn more about arts offerings at colleges and universities and what career paths are available.
In episode one, we discuss the framework for Personalized Learning developed by the South Carolina Department of Education and interview teachers in Berkeley County who are transforming their classrooms to personalize learning for all students.

PSH will host IGP Parent Night for ALL rising 9th graders on December 10, 2019, at 6 PM.
We will cover the following:
-Graduation/College Entrance Requirements
-PSH Career Pathways
-PSH Course Selection and the 8th-grade IGP Process
-Required Teachers' Recommendations for Honors and AP (based on test scores and grades)
-Data used to determine placement in ALC English/English 1; Foundations of Alg./Intermediate Alg. and/or Earth Science.
