Six Berkeley County School District student-athletes representing three high schools signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday of this week, solidifying advancement to the collegiate level in sports with which they excel.
On Tuesday, November 12 BCSD hosted its annual Board Room Art Show. In total, there were 42 students with artwork selected to hang in the central office outside of the board room for the next year. Berkeley County School District will hold a Job Fair on November 6th at the Berkeley Educational Center. The first session will be from 10am to 1pm and the second session will be from 5pm to 7pm. Also in attendance will be representatives from the Town of Moncks Corner, Kelly Service, Acrux, and SC Works. There are part-time and full-time job opportunities in different fields.
***A second Job Fair will be held the following week at Men Riv Educational Park on November 13th. The first session is from 10am to 1pm and the second session will be from 5pm to 7pm.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL
The purpose of a School Improvement Council is to work with the school principal in planning, reviewing, and evaluating school programs. Input is sought in developing strategic and school renewal plans. The most up-to-date information and data on school programs is shared each month.

Underclassmen pictures are ready to be picked up in room 101 during lunches or after school. They must be signed for!
Make-up picture day for all students (TO INCLUDE SENIORS) is Thursday, November 7th. Seniors must schedule an appointment with Mrs. Summers in room 101. There is a $27 sitting fee for Seniors due Thursday.
