Berkeley County School District incorporates several web-based programs and services to support and engage students in 21st century learning. These tools can be accessed from any mobile or connected device at home or at school. The details below serves as a good starting point for more information about some key tools used by your child to extend learning opportunities beyond the classroom and the school day.
 

 

 

 
 
G Suite for Education provides a variety of collaboration and productivity tools needed for 21st century teaching and learning. These free cloud- based tools from Google (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar) are used by students and teachers  for file storage, document sharing, task management,  word processing, presentation creation, etc. All Berkeley County School District students and staff are provided with free Google accounts to access these tools.
 
 
Google Classroom is an online platform only available for those using Google Apps for Education. Google Classroomenables students and teachers to communicate around course content. Teachers design online classrooms where they assign, distribute, and receive course materials digitally. Students can submit assignments, collaborate together, and receive feedback all withinGoogle Classroom.
 
 
MasteryConnect is a standards-driven online assessment and data analysis platform that is used by Berkeley County School District.  Teachers can push online assessments and resources to students quickly and easily. Teachers gather data within MasteryConnectto personalize instruction based on students’ needs. Students can complete and receive immediate feedback regarding mastery of standards and assessment performance.
