Berkeley County Evening High School is a program for students interested in a non-traditional schedule. Students may earn initial credit or recover credit. The Evening High School is not an alternative school for students with chronic discipline problems. The program offers a unique learning environment that allows students to take courses online with support from certified instructors.
This innovative program is offered at Berkeley High School and Goose Creek High School. Each site operates under the leadership of a site director, certified high school teachers, and a guidance counselor. Students must be enrolled in a regular daytime high school program in Berkeley County and be recommended by their home school principal to apply for Evening High School. The program offers a unique learning environment that allows students to take courses online. Credits earned by successful completion of these courses count toward fulfilling requirements to obtain a South Carolina High School Diploma.
