Empower All Students for Success

Welcome to Berkeley Educational Center

The Berkeley Educational Center provides educational opportunities and services to empower adults with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, parents, and community members.
The instructional curriculum is designed to ensure adults have the education and skills required to be competitive in our global economy for a better quality of life.
The Center provides GED (High School Equivalency) classes, High School Diploma classes through the Berkeley County Virtual Learning Program, community education classes (when available), TABE, and WorkKeys® assessments to meet the growing needs of our community.
 Attention GED Candidates
New passing score for the GED has been lowered to 145! If you took the GED after January 1, 2014 and earned scores close to 145, please contact us so we can help you develop a new plan to earn your credential.
