Berkeley Electric Cooperative Junior Ambassador
Daniel has been chosen to represent Berkeley Electric Cooperative in Washington DC as their Junior Ambassador and will hold this postition for one year. Throughout the year long program, he will explore the cooperative - its resources, leadership needs, issues and opportunities. Daniel will be asked to share ideas and learn what it takes to work together and to become a decision maker.
This program is designed to motivate students to think seriously about the role they would like to play and the difference they can make in their community. Daniel will be provided with a wide range of educational opportunities including attending BEC Board Meetings, SC Capitol and Legislative Day, Energy Tour Day, Habitat for Humanity Group Intern Project, as well as Summer and Region Conferences just to name a few.
